A recent
study by the Partnership for Advancing Technology in Housing (PATH)
suggests that b uilders
who are looking for ways to increase profits, improve turn-around times
and reduce call-backs should consider using panelized building methods.
According to the study (“Integrating
Panels Into the Production Home Building Process”), builders
are converting to panelized building systems
for “long-term cost savings, shorter construction
times, reduced labor and material costs and enhanced energy
performance.”
